Paso Doble Sofa

Paso Doble is the definingly new seating system designed by Nicola Pavan. Pasp Doble or “double step” is a reference to Argentine dance, and a metaphor for movement achieved through a natural gesture of the hands.

A technique as simple as it is innovative allows the backrests to be quickly repositioned thanks to a “double step” mechanism hidden beneath the seat. Shift the components from a more upright, formal position to a more informal one.

The bold, graphic character of the metal supports finds balance in the softness of the generous seats, recalling classic lines and a timeless idea of comfort.

A new textile collection of the same name is offered in vibrant, luminous colors to enhance the design’s stylistic identify. Completely removable covers make the Paso Doble system practical and versatile; it is available in multiple modular sizes and customizable components.
